The company "TAPAI-GEAR" was established in 1988 as a craft shop which was specialized for production of gears. In recent years we have continuously expanded our fleet, and thanks to that we can provide our clients with a wide range of services.
Our strong commitment is to provide high quality of services thus we are ready to enter into long-term relationships with our clients. For this reason, it is imperative that we develop our technological processes and keep them under constant supervision. It is important that our employees are qualified. We are proud that our activity keeps industry moving in the way we provide parts for repair of old machines or building of new ones. Throughout the history of our company we made and we are still making parts for machine tools, equipment for brick plants, machines for construction industry (excavators, loaders, cranes, etc.), mining equipment, various vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, boats), machines for recycling of waste, heating plants, printing machines, processing and packaging in food industry and, as the last but not the least important, parts for agricultural machinery.

After 25 years in machine tool manufacturing, I started my own business in 1988. From the very beginning, quality work has been very important to me and I am proud that we can provide high-quality service to our customers. The greatest recognition for me is the satisfaction of our partners, which confirms that the effort so far has not been in vain. To this day, I am actively involved in the work and I am happy that my sons continue to develop the company.

In 1990, after graduating from mechanical engineering high school, I started working in our father's company, and since 2012 I have been working as the director of the company. Briefly about myself, I like what I do, I am a fan of precise work. My goal is to build long-term successful cooperation with our customers. It is important to me that our company is a successful company that adapts flexibly to market needs, is recognized as a reliable partner, and is successful. My long-term goal is to prove that nothing is impossible.
Tapai Arpad - Chief Technology Officer
Since graduating from the technical college, I have been working at the company, which was then still owned by our father. Since 2012, I have been part owner and technical director of the company. My goal is to manage a company that, by providing suitable working conditions, enables not only the owners, but also the employees and their families to make a secure living, even in difficult economic conditions. I am constantly looking for opportunities for development and am open to innovations. I believe that a good team can always offer more than the individuals that make up the team individually.
